How are the Flagstaffs constructed?
The outer shell, unlike many Australian caravans, is
structural in design, dramatically strengthening the whole unit. The
Flagstaff has a vacubond sandwich construction gaining strength in much
the same way as a surfboard.
Walls, floor and roof, use welded aluminium frames with foam insulation,
which is sandwiched between ply, glued and then vacubonded. Walls have
fibreglass cladding over ply. Roof is covered with an all-weather u.v.
protected vinyl cladding with a 12 year limited warranty.
The chassis is ultra lightweight, painted steel, built for minimum
weight and maximum strength.
